About our cleaning solution

We use a biodegradable cleaning solution formulated to remove staining from algae, mold, mildew and lichen on memorial stone. It contains no bleach or acids and is used on materials such as granite, marble and limestone when appropriate for the memorial’s condition.

Results continue over time

Cleaning is a gradual process. Some improvement may be visible during the visit, with further changes developing over the following weeks or months. The amount of buildup, stone material and weather affect the timing and results.

A temporary change in color can occur after treatment as biological staining responds to the cleaner. A one-week photo is a progress update; it may not show the final result.

Care suited to each memorial

We assess the material and condition before cleaning, follow cemetery rules and choose care appropriate to the stone. Some staining may remain, and some memorials may need additional attention. We discuss the recommended care with you before work begins.
